| At the age of Thirteen I was sent to a Military School where, as part of the curriculum, I trained in the Blacksmith Shop until 1969 when I graduated and joined the Marines.
I have been making my living as a professional Farrier (Horseshoeing) for the last thirty years. At the same time I have also been doing ironwork, both functional and decorative, for churches, museums, historical societies and private individuals.
For a period of time I worked with silver and other metals designing and making jewelry. During that time I became quite intrigued with Damascus and the forge welding of metals. I took a class in Bladesmithing with Hugh Bartrug, working Damascus Steel into blades, and have been designing and forging Damascus Steel knives ever since.
At the present time I am a member of the American Bladesmith Society & the Knifemakers Guild .
Ed Halligan, a Master Bladesmith, has been my mentor, a good friend and a key figure in my knifemaking for many years.
I offer Forged Steel, Damascus and Stainless knives.
All knives and cases are completely custom-made by myself.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy my site and what it has to offer.
